At present, it is widely accepted that the utilization of the advanced technology of synchrotron light source is highly beneficial to scientific research community.  Moreover, synchrotron light can be used in various advanced research and technology development.  Especially, in the developed countries, it is one of the main research facilities for various kinds of industrial research and development. Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization) (SLRI), under the Ministry of Science and Technology, pursues the mission of enhancing national scientific and technological research, leading to the sustainable development of Thailand. This is in accordance with SLRI’s vision “Be a national research center with high efficiency in performing and promoting synchrotron research and development for sustainable development of Thailand”.

National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI)

National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI) was established under the National Science Technology and Innovation Act, promulgated on 13 February 2008.  The office is a non-bureaucratic, government-owned juristic person that maneuvers in commission with the policy guidance from the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Committee (NSTIC), chaired by the Prime Minister of Thailand.

National Science Museum (NSM)

The National Science Museum (NSM) was founded to be the organization responsible for the development and management of the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Information Technology Museum and Rama 9 Museum.  All museums are located in Technopolis, Khlong 5, Khlong Luang, PathumThani. NSM’s mission is to develop learning resources in science, technology and biodiversity for Thai society through science communication, activities, research and development and various educational programs that enhance knowledge, understanding, attitude, skill, procedure, conscience and imagination. The museums will also seek to encourage the active participation of individuals in the development of science and technology to support and sustain the development of the nation.

Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization) (TINT)

Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) is a governmental public organization responsible for carrying out nuclear research and development programmes of the country. TINT also provides education services to the public on the matters relating to nuclear utilization.
