National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Public Organization) : NARIT, under the Ministry of Science and Technology, has prepared observers stations for the partial solar eclipse phenomenon that could be seen early on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chachoengsao, Nakhon Ratchasima and Songkhla, and mobilized a network of more than 100 astronomers to hold activities simultaneously across the country. This phenomenon is determined as an unmissable phenomenon, because we must wait for another three years for such phenomenon to happen again. HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Ternate Island, the Republic of Indonesia, to observe the total solar eclipse phenomenon and  provided live broadcast of the phenomenon to Thailand via www.narit.or.th.
