Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Minister of Science and Technology summarized 12 month plan work that concerning competiveness measures, MOST has pushed Food Innopolis project to promote Thailand as the center hub for food related research and development. This research complex will attract world leading food producing enterprises to invest in food innovation in Thailand and promote Thai entrepreneurs to join in world food production chain. This project will commence service from early 2016. The other project is SME innovation coupon for AEC.  This project will support 340 SMEs to bring its research products to be pilot in commercial models  and support a network of 500 innovation service units using 515 million baht. This project will stimulate additional investment value of more than 500 million baht and it will increase more than 1,000 employments which brings about cash flow for more than 2,550 million baht. This is the first joint collaboration project between MOST and Federations of Thai Industry and Board of Trade of Thailand in order to directly connect and extend to private sectors.
