Workshop on Surveying Proposals, Needs and Approach on Systematic R & D

18 November, 2015 at Hotel Grand Mercure Fortune, Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Minister of Science and Technology presided over the opening ceremony of the Workshop on Surveying Proposals, Needs and Approach on Systematic R & D, in order to collect the data to develop integrated framework for R & D. There were approximately 300 representatives from public and private sectors as well as academic institutions joining the workshop. 

Dr. Pichet said that “H.E. Mr. Prime Minister has initiated that in order to develop national research system, we should invest in collaborative research among domestic and international research institutes in order to increase economic values for both macro and community levels and increase fidelity among foreign enterprises and multi-national corporations” At the mean time, the Royal Thai Government has invested 5 millions baht per subdistrict (Tambon) to stimulate local economics based on local needs”
